NBA 2K14 review
For many years, the NBA 2K franchise has consistently stood simply better than most sports games as a result of stellar gameplay, star power, and also the inclusion of fresh, new ideas each season. At basketball, NBA 2K14 plays beautifully. For your third straight year, the basic shooting and passing mechanics happen to be significantly altered. The initial experience for veterans of NBA 2K13 is confusion and comedic ineptitude. All of the finely honed skills you’ve burned in your brain must be trashed, and that’s no easy action to take. However, you might say “just use the button passing and shooting, dummy,” the fact that the best stick controls your entire crossovers, sidesteps, and spins along with shooting means that you have no choice but to re-learn the fundamentals. Otherwise it’s impossible to play the game.
